What we believe
This is our Statement of Faith
01
Triune God
We believe in one God, sovereign and omnipotent, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:6-7)
03
Jesus
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and died for our sins as a vicarious sacrifice that He, by the will of God, was resurrected bodily from the grave, and that by His shed blood, mankind can be justified before God. (Luke 1:27,35; 1 John 2:1-2; Matthew 27:35-38; John 11:25; Matthew 28:6)
05
Ordinances
We believe that the Lord prescribed for His followers the ordinances of baptism by immersion, and the Lord’s Supper.
(Acts 2:28; Acts 8:38; Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:24-25)
07
Second Coming
We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1-22.)
02
Bible
We believe the Word of God, which is contained in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament, is inerrant, verbally inspired, and is the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice.
(2 Timothy 3:16)
04
Children of God
We believe that all who are called by God and who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God, saved for eternity.
(John 3:16, John 6:39-40; Romans 8:28-39; Ephesians 1:3-14; Ephesians 2:8-9; Philippians 1:6)
06
Grace
We believe the grace of God to be essential for the maintenance of a Godly walk, and that Christ is the believer’s rule and example of life. (Romans 3:22-24; Romans 5:2; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
08
The Church
We believe the Church is an elect company of God, called by Him into fellowship with all believers to know and to do His will; its mission is to witness concerning Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, preaching the gospel among all nations and peoples.
(Acts 2; Acts 20:28; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 5:30; Colossians 1:18)
